Michelangelo Landgrave was, against his express request, born in Mexico. At the age of two he crawled over the border into United States. A fervent supporter of free trade, he did so without seeking a state license. Proudly, he has never held a fishing or driving license. He does hold a master’s degree in Economics from California State University and is currently pursuing his Political Science PhD from the University of California, Riverside. He is a doctoral fellow with the Mexican National Council of Science and Technology (Conacyt). His academic research focuses on the intersection of migration and urban studies. Michelangelo is a 4th generation Angeleno and resides in the greater Los Angeles area with his robot, Alexa.
